Powering lending in the digital age
Branding a Technology Platform

Silvercat are at the forefront of digital lending in the UK —  a technology platform designed to power lenders in the Plata group of companies. Developed in house, it has been optimised and refined, emerging as a standalone business.

We were approached to design a brandmark and website for Silvercat, to showcase the capabilities of the platform, and unpin the activities of the partner companies that are ‘powerwed by Silvercat’. Following workshops to understand more about the business and the requirements for the website, we created a fluid brand and graphic style, with the essence of the feline in the digital space.

Our initial inspiration came form the behaviour of cats — always aware, moving, changing and evolving — that aligned perfectly with the ethos for the business to continually adapt and change, and to reward experimentation and exploration. The 9 dots of the logo — dark grey and cats-eye green — became a feature of icons and infographics, animated textures on the website ‘play’ with your mouse pointer as you navigate around, and the graphic lines twist and turn across the page.
